What does A-Frame mean?

A-Frame refers to the architectural structure of the building. You can thank IHOP and the sustainably-minded genius of Sean Knibb for that one.

Can you accommodate guests with dietary restrictions, including vegetarians, those with specific food allergies or someone who might be on a special diet?

Yes, we can accommodate certain requests at the risk of the original integrity of the dish -- but if the requests involve dishes that require a two-day process of brining and slow-roasting, it may be impossible to accommodate. Feel free to notify your server of certain dietary restrictions and allergies and we'll do our best to see what we can make happen for you.

How often does the menu change?

It changes about as often as the seasons do.

Are you open for lunch?

Yes, on Saturdays, Sundays and most holiday Mondays.

Does A-Frame accommodate large parties?

20, comfortably.

Do you accept reservations for large parties?

No on the reservations, but we may consider buy-outs for the front patio. Please email info@aframela.com for more details.

What is the seating capacity?

47 dining room. 8 bar. 23 patio. 14 front patio.

What’s your wait time like?

5-10 minutes before 7PM and after 9:30PM. 45 minutes to an hour and fifteen minutes between the hours of 7PM-9:30PM.

Do you take walk-ins?

We take only walk-ins, except in the case of a buy-out.

Is smoking allowed?

You can legally smoke out in the parking lot.

Would it be okay to bring children to A-Frame?

Yes, while there is no children's menu available, we do have high chairs and our food is kid-friendly.

What credit cards do you accept?

All credit except Discover and Diner's Club.

Do you sell gift cards?

Yes we do.

Do you serve Lunch?

Yes, we serve Lunch on Saturdays and Sundays 12p-3pm.

Do you have Happy Hour?

Yes, we now offer a special Happy Hour menu Monday through Friday, 5pm - 7pm.

Do you have valet parking? Do you have parking?

No, we do not have valet parking. But yes, we have a full parking lot and adequate street and meter parking available.

Do you have a full bar?

Yes, fully stocked to satisfy the most laid back and discriminating of tastes.

Can I have a full meal at the bar?

Yes, everything that's available to the dining area is available at the bar. Plus, based on proximity to the kitchen window and those tending the bar, you'll probably receive your orders a smidge quicker.

Can we bring in our own wine?

Yes, with a $15 Corkage fee.

May I bring an outside cake to my meal?

Yes, with a $15 flat per dessert cake-cutting fee.

Does the Executive Chef of A-Frame cook at any other restaurants?

Yes. Chef Roy Choi directs the kitchens of Kogi, Chego, Alibi Room, Sunny Spot.

Are you wheelchair accessible?

Yes we are.

Do you do take out? Do you deliver? Do you cater?

We do take out. No delivery. No catering yet unless you do a pick up.

What is the dress code at A-Frame?

All of your most private areas must be covered at all times. Other than that, it's all good.

How long has A-Frame been open?

Since November 4, 2010.

Does the owner of A-Frame own any other restaurants?

Dave Reiss also owns Sunny Spot, Alibi Room and The Brig.

Is Chef Roy ever around?
